While her headshot looks very serious, Los Angeles-based actress and writer Raquel Woodruff would like to note she's actually quite funny. Raquel is so excited to make her comic book writing debut alongside Matt Medney with their graphic novel Citizen Science, about an outer space-obsessed girl who discovers the existence of aliens. And while Raquel could have gone for the cheap pun and said she's "over the moon," she refrained - because that's the kind of writer she is. Raquel's collaboration with Matt originated at Heavy Metal, where she voice acted for several projects, eventually joining the company as Matt's Chief of Staff and Junior Creative. On the acting front, she recently played Carlie in Sebastien Tobler's feature debut, "This Time," a Stowe Story Labs selected film currently on the international festival circuit. Raquel is only beginning her journey as a writer, and dreams of acting in her own creations.
